Or: How the Watchmen Is Ridiculously Close In Relation to the Next Music Video

There’s no avoiding the current chatter around the brand new Warner Brother’s movie, Watchmen. Based on a graphic novel of the same name, the movie adaptation bounced around Hollywood for years and is finally on the big screen!

But what does this have to do with music videos? Well the next Music Video just happens to feature Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard. Known for his illustration and comic prowess in addition to his frank, conversation-like song style, Jeffrey Lewis wrote his senior thesis on the Watchmen back in 1997. He's practically a Watchmen expert.

While touring in England, Jeffrey Lewis was invited to talk at London Institute of Contemporary Arts and sold out not one but two nights of lectures about Watchmen! For those of us not lucky enough to have attended, we must be satisfied by this BBC interview between Ekow Eshun and Jeffrey Lewis.
