Sometimes music videos are so stylized that they come off a little wacky. Such is the case with this digital masterpiece from Meneo for their song Basic. Clearly these guys do it themselves, which is why it’s today’s In the Spirit of Music Videos. Hat’s off fellas, this one is spectacular.

About the music video: We shot the video with a photo camera with the LED screen broken :P and music is made on a 10 euros second hand gameboy. Background graphics are just 8bit trash created running BASIC (an acronym for Beginner’s All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) on a ZX spectrum emulator mixed with some pixelart from old arcade videogames.
